Texas City ISD offers a full range of athletic programs, which begin at various grade levels, including baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, diving, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, and water polo.
The purpose of our extra-curricular sports program is to encourage and foster opportunities for ALL students to actively participate in activities other than the academic. This develops learning outcomes in skills, emotional patterns, communication, interpersonal group dynamics, teamwork, leadership, and general knowledge.

TCISD SUMMER CAMPS INFORMATION

Young Stings Football Camp - Tuesday, May 30th - Thursday, June 1 - 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. - Cost is $50 per camper after May 22nd ($45 per camper if registered before May 22) Camp is for incoming K - 6th graders / Camp will be held at Stingaree Stadium in Texas City. Registration Form
TCISD Boy's & Girl's Basketball Camp - Monday, June 5th - Thursday, June 8th - Cost is $50.00 per camper after May 31st ($45.00 per camper if registered before May 31st) Camp is for K-6th grade from 9:00 a.m. - Noon / 7th - 9th grade from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Camp is for any students at La Marque or Texas City schools and will be conducted by the TCHS & LMHS coaching staffs. Camp will be held at the Texas City High School Gyms. ;Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the TCHS cafeteria. Registration Form
Texas City Stings Baseball Camps - Basic Camp 1 is Monday, June 12 - Tuesday, June 13 and Basic Camp 2 is Thursday, June 15 & Friday, June 16. Pitchers & Catchers Camp is Wednesday, June 14 - Cost is $50 basic camp or $60 for Basic & Pitchers/Catchers Camp. For Just the Pitchers/Catcher's Camp the cost is $20.00 These are the fees if registered by June 5. After June 5th the cost is $60 for Basic Camp / $70 for Basic & Pitchers/Catchers Camp / $30 for just the Pitchers/Catchers Camp. Camp is open to incoming 3rd through 9th graders. Texas City Stings Soccer Camp - Monday, June 19 - Wednesday, June 21 - Cost is $50.00 per camper if registered by June 15th. After June 15, cost goes to $60.00 per camper. Camp is for incoming 2nd through 7th grade boys and girls. The camp will be held at Stingaree Stadium. Registration Form
