TCISD is progressing plans to build a robotics facility after securing a $1 million commitment from Marathon Petroleum Corporation in support of enhancing educational experiences in robotics for local students.

Marathon Petroleum owns and operates the Galveston Bay refinery in Texas City and is providing the funding to the Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future, which collaborates with the community and the school district to generate and distribute resources to enrich, maintain and expand TCISD programs. The new robotics facility will broaden robotics education across the school system. #TogetherWeSucceed #MPCGives
