Safe Sting and Safe Coog

The TCISD Safe Sting and Safe Coog Program is a campus-based version of Crime Stoppers and operates underneath the Mainland Communities Crime Stoppers. It serves all TCISD schools and facilities and is coordinated with the Galveston County Sheriff's Officer School Liaison program.

The mission of Safe Sting/Safe Coog is to prevent and solve crime at school and at school events. Faculty, staff, students, parents and community members can submit specific tips to the Sheriff's deputies who are assigned to the District's schools. Rewards will be paid to those who provide information about crimes that have already been committed or that are planned to be committed at school or at a school event.

Tips can be submitted safely and anonymously through the TCISD Safe Sting/Safe Coog Program.

For more information about the Campus Crime Stoppers Program Safe Sting, call Deputy Dawn Crowell at 409-916-0836.
