Open Enrollment & Campus Transfers
Texas City ISD is offering an open enrollment application process for 2026-2027 school year to allow non-resident students to enroll in TCISD or resident students transfer schools within the district. This application must be completed by a parent or guardian of the student wishing to apply or transfer into the district. The open enrollment process is open to students in Pre-K through 12th grade.
Intra-district campus transfer applications close June 1.

Mc Kinney Vento Homeless Assistance Act 42 U.S.C. 11432 (g)(3)(c) requires the immediate enrollment of children and youth experiencing homelessness, even in the absence of records normally required for enrollment such as school records, medical records, proof of residency or other documentation. The Texas Education for Homeless Children and Youth website can provide additional enrollment/school selection information.
