Chess Club
Why Play Chess?
The game of chess develops students' ability to concentrate, think logically, spot patterns, and categorize information. It is also fun! If you would like to join the Chess Club, see Mrs. Balke (your librarian) in the library.
When Does the Chess Club Meet?
Chess Club formally meets every Friday morning at 6:55 am. During the week students are encouraged to play chess with other team members in the library before and after school.
When is the Library Open?
The library is open before and after school for chess club members (and other students) to play.
Library Hours:
6:30 am-4:00 pm Monday-Thursday
6:45 am-3:10 pm Friday
