Download the P3 Campus for anonymous tip reporting

One of the most effective safety and security tools we use in Texas City ISD is the P3 Campus app. It's an anonymous tip reporting application. We encourage all students, parents and community members to download it for free and use it when they know someone needs help.

What could you anonymously report on: abusive relationship, planned school attack, depression, domestic violence, sexual assault, drugs/alcohol abuse, suicide threat, theft, eating disorder, homelessness, child abuse, weapons, anger issues, missing student, bullying and anything else that could harm someone.

Visit the P3 Campus website today.

Curbside meal waiver granted so a week's worth of food can be issued each Monday

Texas City ISD recently was approved for a USDA Waiver Extension so that 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches can be issued one day a week beginning Sept. 14. Students attending TCISD schools in person will have their meals delivered to the classroom. Students attending virtually, can pick up their meals for the week curbside from their school. The children need not be present to pick up the meals.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, curbside meals will be available on Mondays only from 12- 1 p.m. at each school. Parents with children at more than one campus only have to pick up at one school. Each student will receive 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches for the week.

Menus are posted on the Nutrition website.

Medication authorization forms and prescriptions can be dropped off with the school nurse

If your child needs to take medication at school, an updated medication administration form must be on file in the nurse's office for the 2020-2021 school year. These forms are found in the Student Health Information Handbook. This form and any prescription and over the counter medications for the 2020-2021 school year can be dropped off at school. If you have any questions, contact your child's campus nurse.

You can find the Student Health Information Handbook on the Handbook page.

The Texas City Independent School District announced today a change to its policy for serving meals to children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2020-2021 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
